Over 800 adults and children of all ages came tocelebrate the past 125 years of Padiham cricket club on Sunday. The day centredaround a 35 over exhibition cricket match between a squad of Padiham Legendsand a Padiham All Star XI.
Many ex players joined forces to enjoy a veryentertaining fixture with the All Star XI coming out on top in a very closegame.
The legends, featuring names such as Steven Gee, MalcolmHeyworth, Neil Anderson, Shaun Rashid, John Bushell, Umar Saddique, JohnHolden, Gary Ramshead, Pankaj Tripathi & Anthony Hall to name just a few,batted first and scored an impressive 243.
In reply the All Star XI with Ex Professional and currentBurnley Pro Chris Holt, Ex Lancashire Cricketer Oliver Newby and members of thecurrent 1st XI chased down the total with only an over to spare.

The cricket club is a main hub for the community and thiswas evident on Sunday with so many old, young and new faces at The Arbories allthere to show there support and celebrates a very special occasion.
